As you may or may not have noticed, the web page you currently find yourself at sits at the front of a deep well of personal notes. This is because you are actually in my published [[Obsidian]] vault. It contains ~~hundreds~~ thousands of interlinked notes, thoughts, projects, and half-baked ideas, which you are free to explore at your own leisure. I do this because I believe in the virtue of [[Work with the garage door up|working with the garage door up]].[^1]
Internal links look like [[About this site|this]] and are hoverable, external links look like [this](https://hans.heum.me/About+this+site), and [[greyed-out]] links point to notes that are either private or yet to be created. Backlinks, i.e. notes linking to the current note, are listed at the bottom.
My note-taking approach is loosely based on [that of Andy Matuschak](https://notes.andymatuschak.org/About_these_notes), which is again loosely based on the famous [[Zettelkasten]] method [popularized by Niklas Luhmann](https://luhmann.surge.sh/communicating-with-slip-boxes).
Finally, being Norwegian, most of my notes are in Norwegian, though many research-related notes, as well as the [[Blog]], are in English.
