Skal jeg gidde å søke? Det virker jo for det første som lavere sannsynlighet for at jeg får denne enn noen av de andre jeg har søkt på, og for det andre er jeg ikke sikker på om jeg har lyst på den. Ville jeg ikke hatt mer lyst til å, for eksempel, være post-doc under [[Andris Ambainis]]?

Er jo absolutt ingenting her jeg er interessert i (muligens unntatt security of AI). Kvantesikkerhet er jo ikke nevnt engang. Hvem er personen ansvarlig for stillingen, og hvor nært knyttet er han til kryptogruppen? Svar på det første: [Nicola Dragoni](https://orbit.dtu.dk/en/persons/nicola-dragoni), deputy director at DTU Compute (som huser kryptogruppen), head of section [Cybersecurity Engineering](https://www.compute.dtu.dk/sections/cyber) (som huser vennene mine i kryptogruppen). Hmm. Men de skriver at deres research areas er splittet i to: Cryptography (Symmetric, Quantum and Post-Quantum), og Cybersecurity in Pervasive Computing:

Det matcher jo bedre kravene de listet over. Høres altså ut som at de ønsker å hyre folk til denne halvdelen av forskningsgruppen. I så fall er jeg *ikke interessert*.
På den annen side skriver de også:

Hmm.
Men nei: Hvis jeg først skal konkurrere med de styrkene jeg har, så må det nok være en stilling som faktisk ser etter *meg*, ikke en som skulle ansatt meg på tross av at de håpet på noen andre. Det fins nok plenty sterke cybersecurity-kandidater der, og jeg har ikke *så* mye å vise til helt enda. (Og hvis jeg skriver "Program Committee PKC'25" i CV-en min så sier nok ikke det Prof. Dragoni så forferdelig mye.)
