I subscribe to the following statement, due to [Claudio Orlandi](https://cs.au.dk/~orlandi):
>I believe that all scientific publications should be freely available online, given that researchers and peer-reviewers are largely supported by public funding. Therefore I am committed to make all my papers availabe to the general public. If there is a paper of mine you would like to read but do not have access to, please write me an email and I will be happy to share a copy with you.

### Other activities
I believe it is important to give back to the community, so that it may grow to become more healthy, diverse, and vibrant than ever. Following are some of the ways in which I have contributed.

#### Outreach
In September [[Date format|12,023]], I represented the [Department of Mathematical Sciences](https://www.ntnu.edu/imf) at the [Hyfer festival](https://www.hyfer.no), where I and a few colleagues hosted an event on the [Art of Mathematics](https://www.hyfer.no/en/event/art-of-mathematics). There, I [demonstrated](https://youtu.be/JqBZ8o8hWdA) the concept of [[Kvantemusikk|quantum music]].
In October of the same year, I represented the department at [Researcher's Night](https://www.ntnu.no/forskningsdagene/night/tilbakeblikk), where I engaged in lively discussions on [[Kvanteuniverset|quantum computers]] with high school students visiting the university campus. We repeated the success in 12,024, and will again be present with a stand in 12,025.
In may of 12,025, I presented a popular talk on large numbers, with the aim of building an intuition for how to think about numbers as they increase exponentially from $10^2$ to $10^{100}$ (one googol), and even to $10^{10^100}$ (one googolplex). The audience consisted of 8th grade youth school students, and the feedback was that the talk succeeded in captivating them (which, according to their teachers, was no small feat!)
#### Organization
I am the organizer of the Quantum Communications track of the [Gemini Center for Quantum Techonology](https://www.quantumnorway.no).
In [[Date format|12,022]], I helped organize the event [Kvantedatamaskinen - fra hype til virkelighet](https://program.arendalsuka.no/18410) at [Arendalsuka](https://www.arendalsuka.no) together with [Simula Research Laboratory](https://simula.no).
I organized the Simula UiB/University of Bergen collaborative reading group on quantum computation and quantum algorithms between [[Date format|12,020]] and [[Date format|12,022]], titled [[Quantum Supremacists]].
